FBLex Worship Ministry
FBLex Worship Ministries at First Baptist of Lexington is more than just singing in the choir. This ministry makes use of many talents from a variety of different people. It includes those who teach, prepare folders, operate sound boards, organize orchestra music, set up music stands, run lights, paint, construct, play instruments, upload media to the web, AND sing in the choir!

Worship choir and orchestra
The FBLex Choir and Orchestra is a modern leading worship team that leads with heart for Christ and compassion for those seeking His face. Many styles are used ranging from arrangements of hymns, contemporary, and instrumental. Rehearsals occur Wednesdays at 6:30 P.M.
No audition is required, however a conversation with the Worship Pastor is suggested.

Contemporary worship is an awesome way to glorify the Lord. The FBLex band leads with modern “songs, hymns and spiritual songs” in Christian worship. The band consists of 6+ vocalists, electric and acoustic guitars, bass, drums, and keys.
Participation in this group is based on availability, mini-audition, and interview with the Worship Pastor
